hey folks,

i should drink less and write more in this blog but .. well drinking is nice. atm the international short film festival in dresden is consuming my time as you can see here:

on the other hand i had some gigs with my bro. we made a new mix and two vids (which are actually more fun then professional)

wow, a lot of things came up to me the last weeks. thats why i was too busy to update, but i try to post now more recently.

First: i made a little review video of the Ipoly Ravin Party at Sektor Evolution. you can find it here:

and here comes the next stop.
this time i made an installation of 16 screens and one triangle projection which is behind the djs. i can control everything separately which ll bring the visual entertainment to the next level. everything ll be synchronized to the music played by djs.
here are some photos of the assembly.

Piranha Beat Club January 2012

pew, that was a night and some really busy days. together with susa i made some visuals for the piranha beat club last weekend that took place at „Kleines Haus“ that is actually a theatre! we built three cubes, each one with an diameter of one and a half meters, and span them with really transparent fabric. hard to explain .. so here comes a photo:

during the sound check i tried to catch the atmosphere with my crappy phone. so you know why the quality sucks.

i was a bit lazy the past days updating but‘em anyway … lots of things r going on.
Today as every month, we celebrate at the Groove Station Club in Dresden and have some delicious guest from Karlsruhe. Those are called (very sexy) The Fat Ugly Bitch.
As the name says, they are fat and ugly … no no. Their music is fat, but not ugly, as you can see here:

today at 10 pm i am going to do a little feature about the deposition of the radio broadcast „markossa“ by mdr sputnik. Markossa last for 20 years and was a broadcast about world music, including cumbia, moombahton, raggaton and afrobeat, moderated by Johannes Pätzold. mdr sputnik is going to reform its program schedule to a more mainstream direction, which is really sad in my opinion.

other topics of the broadcast are:
- interview with Götterkreis – producer from dresden
- interview with DOI, Max Grabke and Dima Deepmix from russia. they have a show tonight at sabotage
